Netanyahu: Israel Has Met War Objectives Against Iran

June 25, 2025 – Middle East News
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced Tuesday that Israel has successfully achieved its war objectives in the recent military escalation with Iran. His remarks came just hours after a ceasefire between the two nations went into effect.

"Israel has met its strategic goals in the war with Iran," Netanyahu stated, adding that any violation of the ceasefire will be met with a strong and decisive response.

Ceasefire Follows Intense Strikes

The truce began following four waves of missile attacks by Iran on Israeli-held territories. In response, US President Donald Trump confirmed a "complete and total ceasefire", urging both nations to honor the truce.

Trump warned both Iran and Israel not to disrupt the fragile peace, emphasizing that any renewed hostility would be “unacceptable.”

Tensions Eased, But Fragile Peace Remains

Although tensions have eased temporarily, military analysts warn that the situation remains volatile, especially if either side misinterprets or breaches the ceasefire terms.
