The New Zealand Dollar (NZD) continues to show resilience against the US Dollar (USD), with the NZD/USD pair maintaining strength just below the 0.6000 mark. According to UOB Group, the pair may attempt to test the next major resistance at 0.6030 if upward momentum strengthens.
While NZD/USD traded in a tight range last Friday between 0.5948 and 0.5988, the modest price action has sparked mild bullish momentum. Analysts now see a potential intraday move toward 0.6000. However, a decisive breakout remains uncertain. Immediate support lies at 0.5960, followed by stronger support at 0.5945.
For the medium-term view, UOB maintains its outlook of NZD/USD trading within a 0.5900–0.6000 range unless a sustained move above 0.6000 unfolds. A confirmed breakout over that threshold could pave the way for a rally toward 0.6030, a key technical resistance level.
